I (Gerard), was raised in a vacuum of Scripture and knowledge about God.  The few times I attended church, I wondered why the minister read from a boring black book?  I could refer him to Tarzan of the Apes, Zane Grey’s cowboy stories, et cetera.  To tell the truth, the Bible seemed very boring.  On the other hand Alida became a follower of Jesus at the age of ten.

#  What can one expect when two such opposites get married?

Sparks, but also the powerful transforming hand of the Lord.  This year we will be married 47 years and we follow the Lord together.  We are so blessed to have a family, as you can see on the photo.

#  Bible student

After many hours of study I came to the conclusion that the Bible is God’s miraculous, Holy Spirit inspired Word of Truth.  It is a book that is relevant in all situations, all countries and among all races and it leads to eternal success.  So we are passionate that people will understand how wonderful and necessary knowledge of this unique Book is.

#  There is no book like the Bible.

The Bible is a once for all revelation of an invisible God and his marvelous plan for man.  Since it has so many layers of insight, we focus more on the bird’s eye view of Scripture, like  how God revealed His plans in 66 books; why there is such tremendous opposition to Scripture; and what the final outcome of God’s plan for man will be.

#  All the different pieces of the Bible puzzle (66 books) fit together.

It forms one great overall picture that accurately reflects the glory of God.  Our age is characterized by a Church with many different voices and opinions about the Bible.  We aim to be as accurate as possible when we write about God’s powerful revelation that He gave for our benefit.

Conclusion

We believe that ‘…the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.’ ¹  The Holy Spirit, who is the source of inspiration and truth in Scripture, cannot lie.  We believe that the 66 books or documents of the Bible have no error in them.  Each one is valuable in God’s revelation of His plan for man.
