The miracle of stardust

Stardust is supposed to be a miracle substance.  The following quote is how prominent cosmologist, Lawrence Krauss, explains it,

“The amazing thing is that every atom in your body came from a star that exploded.  And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand.  It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust.  You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements – the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution – weren’t created at the beginning of time.  They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.  So, forget Jesus.  The stars died so that you could be here today.” Let’s look at this miracle stardust.

#  How did the first stars form?

  • Basically the ‘science’ is that stardust comes from the big bang and exploding stars. It is said that stars formed from clouds of gas that were compressed by an exploding star, a supernova.
  • The problem is that stars are needed to form stars and the stardust.  But the origin of the first stars remain a mystery. 2  So where does the stardust come from?

#  The ‘stardust’ in the Periodic Table

  • Anybody who studies the Periodic Table will understand how precise the elements with their different atomic weights, et cetera, are.  It is remarkable in its very high precision.
  • The public is asked to believe that the stardust in all its complexity (elements represented in the Periodic Table) evolved by chance from stars whose origin remain a mystery.
  • But, for the world at war with the Creator God, these kinds of ‘miracles’ like stardust that formed humans, are everyday stuff.  Wave the wand of evolution, and presto, it is done.

#  How wise and intelligent can stardust be?

  • As Krauss says, stardust precisely formed humans.  That should include the earth, water, clouds, land, plants, birds, fish, animals, diamonds, et cetera.
  • That is the so-called ingenious wisdom and intelligence of the evolution of stardust: it ‘created’ all life on earth.

#  The hero: stardust!

  • Did stardust really accumulate in the right proportions of the right elements to form life?  Thousands of researchers cannot prove in the laboratory that life began naturally.  Yet stardust did it.  What a miracle!
  • Did stardust design the precision of the genetic code, the DNA, and the ATP energy producing machine in living organisms?
  • What about the immaterial mind in humans?  Was all that done by the hero, stardust?

  • As we quoted Lawrence Krauss, ‘Forget Jesus.  The stars died so that you could be here today,’ terming that the most poetic thing he knows in physics. 1,3
  • Just to demonstrate the foolishness of believing that nature has a mind and creative ability: stardust will lead those who believe in it to a terrible future of eternal remorse and torture.

God a Baby Killer???

We as followers of Jesus are reassured by the opposition party that our God is a baby killer.  There are many atheistic and skeptic blogs that sing the same song, ‘God is a killer (of innocent people).’ Steve Wells discusses it in his book, ‘Drunk with Blood.’ As they get their information about God from the Bible, we have no other option than to use the Bible to find out if it is true.  We want to discuss some of the ‘Goliaths’ of the Bible Bashing party, and other ‘warriors.’

#  Richard Dawkins

Richard Dawkins tells all and asunder that the Creator God of the Bible is fiction.  Evolution is science and the creator of nature.  It is a fact because Darwin proved it.

  • His book, ‘The Greatest Show on Earth, the Evidence for Evolution,’ is supposed to prove the grand fact of evolution. 3
  • But if evolution is true science, Richard Dawkins should boast many, many scientific patents for his inventions as a life long investigator of the science of evolution (real, operational science leads to patents like those of Thomas Edison).  It doesn’t seem as if he has patented many applications or discovered many laws of nature.
  • If Dawkins’ book, ‘The God Delusion’ administered the knock-out to God, why do the attacks and controversies around Him never cease? Is it because God is still very much alive?

#  Lawrence Krauss

Is Lawrence Krauss correct when he struts around and tells us that God has no content, but science has?  Then he presents his content – the ‘scientific’ fact of dark matter, dark energy and the multiverse. There is no scientific proof whatsoever for any of them and they make up 95% of the universe.  We can only observe and investigate 5% of their cosmos.  What ‘content’ is in that?

#  Millions of other contenders against God

Like Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins, there are millions of other contenders against God. Whether they are atheists, skeptics, unbelievers, followers of Islam, or whatever, they have one common goal: the God of the Bible with its 66 books that testify about Him, is bad news.  Their animosity towards God binds them together.

#  Bible Bashing

What makes the Bible so exceptional that Bible Bashing has been a popular pass time (and full time occupation for many) for the last almost 2,000 years?  Does the Bible have an extremely dangerous message?  Does it command its followers to bomb cities, burn down buildings, decapitate people, use suicide bombs, et cetera?  Does it lead people to subvert governments?  Or is there something else at play with these attacks on God and the Bible?

#  Encouragement

‘Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you.’ 1 Corinthians 15:58

P.S.  We will continue the discussion in the category, ‘Lawsuits against God.’

Lawrence Krauss’ scientific wisdom

In a recent debate with Dr Stephen Meyer and Dr Denis Lamoureux, Lawrence Krauss said among other things, ‘The visible universe is largely an insignificant sideshow.  We are a bit of cosmic pollution in a sea of dark matter and energy.’

That is what many atheists believe.  For ease, we call it the ‘speck theory:’  People supposedly are just infinitely small specks living on an insignificant planet in a small solar system, in an incredibly big universe.  And…there are probably millions of earth-like planets with life on them.  That is why humans are not special.  Bill Nye is also a strong supporter of the ‘speck theory.’

What does Scripture teach about the insignificance of our planet and the people on it?

The earth was first.

God made the earth first and the universe later.  It is to demonstrate how important earth is.   Scripture teaches that earth will be the only planet where God will live among His chosen children, whom He knows personally.  It will be His future Headquarters where He will live with His people

God knows the name of each star.

Psalm 147:4 says, ‘He [God] determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.’  That is to tell us that God has the capacity to know all humans beings.

How well does God know all people?

Matthew 10:30 tells us, ‘…even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.’

God did the opposite of what Krauss teaches

Actually God is so much aware of us that at a very specific time in history, He sent His own beloved Son to earth to redeem (buy back) a Bride for Himself.  Jesus knew all of us and died on the cross to save us from the devil’s plans, making us shining stars in His Kingdom. 1  So much for the ‘speck theory.’  We feature big in God’s eyes.
