Glory, it’s coming! Part 1

Look at these wonderful words,

‘He [Jesus] will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.’  Isaiah 2:4a

That refers to the Millennium when Jesus will reign from Jerusalem for a thousand years (referenced in Revelation 20:4-6).  It will be a wonderful time on this present earth.  Jesus will settle the disputes of Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Ukraine, the United States and many other nations.  Not only that,

‘They will beat their swords into plough shares and their spears into pruning hooks.  Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war any more.’  Isaiah 2:4b

Just think!   There will be no more armaments factories.  It will not matter who has what grudge or which nation wants to expand its territory or settle arguments, there will be no more war.

The Millennium is a prelude (forerunner) of the coming eternal Kingdom of God.  What a future for God’s children!

Is Climate Change real? Part 3

When it comes to Climate Change, its vocal adherents never mention God’s curse on nature.  It is logical because the world media and most of the leaders of today are under the influence of the prince of this world, Satan.  The last thing the evil one wants is that people flock to Jesus.

His solution is to blame the people for their ‘destructive’ actions towards ‘mother earth.’  Therefore the use of oil and gas must be stopped.  In addition,  don’t use fertilizer and reduce cattle numbers.  All that will of course drastically reduce living standards.  What the world leaders propose and do will eventually lead to lack of food.

Whatever the laws governments pass, only God’s call is the solution for the people of this planet,

‘Repent, for the Kingdom of God near.’  Matthew 3:2

Is Climate Change real? Part 2

World leaders and the media focus on man’s use of oil and gas, his carbon footprint: it supposedly destroys nature.  Yet they never mention another factor, namely God’s call to nations to repent,

‘Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out My hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it….’  Ezekiel 14:12

After Adam succumbed to the devil’s lies in Eden, sin became part of humanity.  Sin and God’s good creation are not compatible.  Sin invites God’s displeasure and He responds to get our attention.   We believe that the abnormal weather patterns are God’s calling card: don’t forget the Creator.

The drought we witness in Europe and England is serious and devastating.  Yet the world, under the leadership of God’s enemy, the devil, will never tell people to repent and believe God.  No, rather scare people out of their wits.  We notice the hysteria of especially the younger generation.  They shout and scream to the adults about the destruction of the earth.  But do they themselves recognize God’s call?

Conclusion (ours)

God calls people to repentance through natural tragedies.  The devil counteracts with a massive propaganda campaign to distract people.  The question: whose voice will carry the day?  The answer is, only God’s Kingdom is eternal and He wants people to come to the knowledge of the truth.
