The Tower of Babel in America

Please don’t think the Bible is just a book to teach us how to prepare for eternal life.  The Bible has great relevance to every day life,

‘For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us….’  Romans 15:4

Let us look at an event that people often think is of no relevance today.  It is about a city and a tower,

‘Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth.’  Genesis 11:4

  • They wanted to make a name for themselves.
  • They wanted a tower to reach heaven.

Both are indicative of one thing: no God, please!

Despite the millions of Americans who are followers of Jesus, the anti-God factions have been fighting against God.  It seems as if God said, ‘Fine, have a society without Me.’

What happened to the people in the time they built the city and the Tower of Babel?  They wanted unity and not to be scattered over the face of the earth. Dit it happen?  No, God confused their language (Babel means ‘confusion’) and the project stopped and they were scattered.

Look at what has happened in America – did unity not fall to the ground as confusion took over just like the Biblical example?

As you can see in the photo, there are two of us. We live and work together 24/7, studying and enjoying our grandchildren. Our passion is to know and understand what will happen after death. Is there a way to provide for and invest in that?

    1. Agree. What is somewhat baffling is that a person, in command in America, who says he is a practicing person of faith will for instance endorse gender transitions for young people. We hear testimonies of some victims of the damage. It is still terrible. Blessings.
