The origin of hatred against Israel

It is obvious that in general the world displays a remarkable anti-Jewish attitude.  We also know it as anti-Semitism.  Why?  It is because the ruler of this world is a rebellious angel who hates God, Jesus and His people.  Genesis 3:15 prophesied that there would be a seed of the woman who would crush the head of that ancient serpent, called the devil or Satan (Revelation 12:9).  The Seed of the woman is Jesus, a Jew.

God’s plan to establishment His Kingdom came through the Jewish nation.  I think God knew that if He chose one of the existing nations, it would lead to jealousy and enmity from other nations.  So He created a special nation, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The Bible describes God’s whole plan for His Kingdom.  So:

  • All 66 books of the Bible except one were written down by Jews.
  • The Law was given by God to Moses who wrote it down.
  • Jesus is a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David.  He is Jewish.

To summarise,

‘…salvation is from the Jews.’  John 4:22b

It is no wonder that the part of the world who don’t believe the Bible, hate Israel.  They are influenced by the ruler of this world, Satan, who hates Jesus and the Jews.  This enmity has its origin in Cain who murdered his brother Abel.  God favoured Abel’s sacrifice.  Nothing prevented Cain to sacrifice in the way God prescribed – a blood sacrifice.  The Bible reveals the origin of that hatred and murder,

‘Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother.’  1 John 3:12

In the same way the evil one still influences people to hate Israel from whom the Messiah came.

As you can see in the photo, there are two of us. We live and work together 24/7, studying and enjoying our grandchildren. Our passion is to know and understand what will happen after death. Is there a way to provide for and invest in that?
