Jesus’ TV news commentary

The riots and unrest in some cities in the United States are fascinating to watch.  Yet it is even more fascinating that God already wrote a commentary on those type of things around 2,600 years ago.

We read in Isaiah 3:4-5 & 12,

‘I will make boys their officials; mere children will govern them.  People will oppress each other – man against man, neighbour against neighbour.  The young will rise up against the old, the base against the honourable….  Youths oppress my people, women rule over them.  O my people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.’

The Lord concludes in Isaiah 3:10,

‘Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.’

Yet He warns those who flaunt His call to repentance,

‘Woe to the wicked!  They will be paid back for what their hands have done.’  Isaiah 3:11

As you can see in the photo, there are two of us. We live and work together 24/7, studying and enjoying our grandchildren. Our passion is to know and understand what will happen after death. Is there a way to provide for and invest in that?
