God’s love

Most people who know God personally, know He is a God of integrity.

  • ‘God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should change His mind.  Does He speak and then not act?  Does He promise and not fulfil?’  Numbers 23:19
  • ‘…God, who does not lie….’  Titus 1:2

It is also written,

  • ‘This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.’  1 John 4: 10
  • ‘This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.’  1 John 4:9

It is remarkable that God repeats twice that He sent His Son.  To become a man and die for us.  Why?  Because He loves us.  What a miracle, what a wonderful act of love from God.

There are those who believe God took a man and made him the son.  There is a deeper issue at stake – God’s love.  How did God demonstrate His love for us?  He sent His Son on our behalf.   To make somebody the Son of God is not an act of love from God’s side.

Conclusion

We prefer the Bible version: God loved us so much that He gave His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  We can only become part of the Kingdom of light when we believe and accept that.  What a wonderful God and King we have!

As you can see in the photo, there are two of us. We live and work together 24/7, studying and enjoying our grandchildren. Our passion is to know and understand what will happen after death. Is there a way to provide for and invest in that?
